Admittedly it's not the cheapest, but there are many things about this cafe that makes it worth visiting: It's got plenty of space, and is open much later than many cafes giving you time to grab a quality coffee after work. The staff are friendly and always appear willing to help, and the food and drink are good quality. Worth a visit!
Went here for a nice coffee and flapjack to take away the taste of the disgusting breakfast I’d just eaten in Wetherspoon. A little wait to get served but no hardship. Told the lady (the boss) sorry crap at remembering names, about my experience in Wetherspoon and she felt bad for me so served me a really good coffee and flapjack at half price. Really nice gesture, and I’d highly recommend this coffee shop — but I won’t eat at Wetherspoon ever again.
Coffee No1 is the best coffee place in the country. Highly recommend, I was served by Rob (the ginger) very friendly service. Even gave my dog a cup of whipped cream!

Fantastic place that serves amazing coffee, lates, cappuccino and cakes. A family favourite. Big shout out to Sam, who's always so cheerful and makes a mean cuppa Joe.
We only popped in for coffee and cake. But I'm sure the food is scrumptious from what I saw. But wow the coffee was fantastic & wife said the tea was lovely . As for cakes spot on too. Very friendly atmosphere. Also very popular while talking to locals and holiday makers. Will definitely be returning again.
Food and coffee was about what I expected for a chain, but the service I received was what blew me away. Only here for a week for a wedding, and only went in twice. On my second visit, the staff remembered my order, despite probably seeing hundreds of people per day. Currently on crutches as well and did everything they possibly could to accommodate me. Baristas were having a good laugh behind the bar while still communicating clearly and getting orders out to smiling faces. A really great vibe, you can tell the people here enjoy being here and that creates a really positive environment to enjoy coffee in.
